Mary Ellen Doris, the founder of Waterview Design Group, is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of New York Institute of Technology, School of Architecture.

She spent her early career working with several commercial architecture firms before forming Waterview Design Group to pursue her true passions: Residential Architecture, Interior Design, and Landscape Architecture.

We work closely with our clients to realize their design goals, always looking for interesting and well-thought-out solutions to their space planning and design requests. We partner with trusted contractors and fabricators who share our vision of quality and professionalism.

Recent Projects

A couple living in Stony Brook, NY wanted to downsize. They purchased a small ranch on a beautiful piece of property. The renovation completely redid the interior, giving it an architectural character that was previously missing.

Kitchen & Living Room

An exciting feature of the renovation was opening up the kitchen-living room area by removing a wall. By adding bookcases and columns, we defined the areas and added architectural character. White cabinets, beadboard ceiling and clean lines with a touch of stainless steel transform the kitchen.
